On April 19, 2013, Rural Alberta Development Fund will host its 2013 Spring Showcase event.
This will be a day of celebration as we highlight the successes and learnings of our projects. Several of our proponents are excited to share their stories and their project intelligence to a greater audience. Learn first-hand from Alberta’s very own Big Sky Thinkers on how they developed and nurtured innovative solutions to complex issues facing their rural communities. See how projects become sustainable while transferring that knowledge to neighboring communities.
This is a great opportunity to meet and network with some of our rural visionaries.
This one-day conference provides an opportunity to:
*celebrate past and current RADF projects
*develop synergies amongst participants
*share success stories and explore common learnings
*facilitate learning about issues still facing rural Alberta
*discuss what we can do to advance the rural agenda in Alberta
In the morning, six RADF projects will talk about their journey to success and the impact to rural Alberta. Videos on several case studies will round out the program.
Then be prepared to take part in an interactive afternoon with four breakout sessions. Panelists will speak to core issues facing rural Alberta, which will be followed by a facilitated question and answer period.
The day will wrap up with everyone together for a panel discussion on sustainability, followed by another facilitated question and answer period.
Register early as space is a premium! There are only 125 seats available on a first come, first serve basis.
This is our first round of invitations. Next week we will be extending the invitation to a wider audience.

The Rural Alberta Development Fund has worked with 396 organizations in 146 communities to fund 85 projects for a total of $100,000,000. Ninety per cent of the projects completed so far have been successful. In dollar terms, Albertans have received a spectacular annual return on investment of 83 per cent.
