Project Description

This project will provide unique learning opportunities for people living in Aboriginal communities in northern Alberta and will be operated out of the Athabasca District. The initiative is creating a system of student supports, community-based education databases, and access to e-learning opportunities based on the community's needs. Education services are responding to local interests and building on people's existing education levels and professional or life experiences. A total of 23 Aboriginal communities are taking part in the project.
