In this project, the Rural Alberta Development Fund invested in a new, hands-on community-based leadership training program for Alberta’s Aboriginal communities. Administered through the Banff Centre’s Nexen Chair in Aboriginal Leadership, it brought together five Aboriginal community partners and a host of stakeholders and community supporters. Together, they built a tool box of skills and educational materials for rural Aboriginal leaders.
